For Value Wine No. 2, I present the 2010 Chateau Jacquet Bordeaux
Blanc
.   Blended from Bordeaux vineyards that date back to 1789,
the largely unknown white Bordeaux from Chateau Jacquet is a refreshing,
crisp blend of Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon and Muscadell.  This French white
has a floral nose, lots of tropical fruit and a smooth, lingering finish that
will satisfy you and your guests who desire something a little different than a
cheap, buttery chardonnay.  It is a great pairing with a lightly grilled
chicken breast with lemon and rosemary, or even a grilled white fish such as
orange roughy.
